Our client, one of the largest French pharmaceutical groups, has an international reach. It has deployed a project management system to homogenize project management and budget management practices and processes between businesses. They wanted to tool and deploy their PPM processes in the Planisware solution, drive the change across all business lines and deploy the solution to all subsidiaries in France and internationally.
We therefore carried out two Planisware v6 implementations (R&D and IT) and took charge of the Maintenance of these solutions (Corrections/Evolutions/Migration). Our teams implemented modules for project management, resources, portfolios, Timecard, Planisware Explorer, and parametric estimates. Interfaces were made with the BI tools and the group ERP and are now used by more than 2500 people. The solution was naturally deployed in several languages.
We set up a multi-skilled team (Project Management/Technical Developer/Trainer) composed of experts in the Planisware solution and in project management. They used the Agile approach and the gap methodology to work as close as possible to the business and prioritize developments with maximum added value. Our consultants also ensured the change management thanks to the training of key users and end users (including training engineering).
This mission, which took place over 5 years and continues to this day, has brought complete satisfaction to our client. He was able to see a gain in maintenance by reducing the spectrum of applications, the optimization of project management practices, budgetary control including in capacity management, improved reporting and project arbitration and finally, better visibility “forecast versus actual”.
