Our client is a global leader in electronics and systems. Throughout the world, it serves the Aerospace, Defence and Security markets, supported by a global offering of advanced technologies and services. It optimises the parallel development of civil and military activities and shares a common base of technologies in the service of a single objective: the security of people, goods and states.
We carried out a project management assignment for one of our client’s divisions specialising in X-ray and microwave imaging solutions for leading satellite, defence, scientific and medical system manufacturers.
The service that our client entrusted us with was Project Management in the pre-project “Structuring” and “Launch” phases. In this critical phase, our client needed to reinforce its expertise at the start of this project.
The mission consisted of :
Getting to know the project, identifying the actors and the structuring actions to be carried out according to the schedule
Structuring the project before its launch by making the preliminary plans necessary for the launch and organising the reviews during this phase. An important part of the activity consisted in accompanying the batch managers in this structuring. Structuring the project includes the activities of establishing and analysing risks in order to build a project risk register, as well as the activity of structuring the project data management.
Launching the project: steering and leading the project launch review with the stakeholders and then ensuring the first consolidated monthly project reports. This activity requires daily contact with the batch managers.
